My life as an at-home momma of 3 amazing kids...it's kind of like shoveling snow in a blizzard.

Stolen from Andrea

Tom Brady, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God showed him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Patriots flag in the window.
"This house is yours for eternity, Tom," God said. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here."

Brady felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the sidewalk, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a blue and white sidewalk and a 50-foot-tall flagpole with an enormous Colts logo flag. A Colts towel hung in every window.

Brady looked at God and said, "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, won the Super Bowl three times and I even went to the Hall of Fame."

"So what's your point, Tom?" God asked.

"Well," Brady said, "why does Peyton Manning get a better house than me?" God chuckled. "Tom, that's not Peyton's house," he said. "It's mine."

OMG! Super Bowl Baby!

I am surprised I didn't wake the kids up when that last pass was intercepted. GO COLTS!

21 years ago.....

I remember driving our freshman English teacher nutso wanting to watch her video of the Chicago Bears doing the "Superbowl Shuffle" every day in class. In fond memory of our fun times in Mrs. Arnold's class (otherwise known as "Big A") I had to dig up a link to the video today.

Finally.....snow!

The kids were very excited to wake this moring and find that there had finally been a significant snowfall! They drove me crazy going in and out and leaving the door open behind them. But they had a lot of fun building a small "snow castle" in the backyard and making snow angels.
Daddy made his own "Peyton Snow-Manning" in the front yard with the help of a spray bottle filled with blue food coloring and water.

Ballet, 100th Day and Honor Roll

Ruby started ballet class again this week. She's in a different class than usual so she doesn't know any of the girls this time. She does have the same teacher though. She showed Miss Johanna how she has been working on spotting when she turns so she won't fall down so often.

Kaylee's class celebrated the 100th day of Kindergarten on Thursday. They all made a project that had 100 of something in it. Kaylee made a window box filled with 100 paper flowers. (She ended up with a little help from Keithen, Ruby and me but she did work hard on it!) There were lots of neat and creative projects and they are all on display in the front of the school right now.

Keithen had his honor roll breakfast on Friday morning. Ruby and I attended with him this time. We had donuts with milk and he got a certificate from Arby's and a pin for his school hat.

Betty Wagner, founding mother of La Leche League, hospitalized

Betty Wagner, one of LLL's founders, has been hospitalized following a stroke. She's been transferred to a rehab facility for evaluation, and is awake and talking some. The stroke was serious, but the report from family members with her is that she seems to be a little better every day. Our thoughts and prayers are with Betty and her family.
