5 Dollars

My life as an at-home momma of 3 amazing kids...it's kind of like shoveling snow in a blizzard.

Trick or Treat

Ruby started her first intermediate ballet class on Halloween afternoon. She took some Halloween treats for everyone and all the little ballerinas were all a twitter with excitement after class.

Ready to trick or treat - the spy, Hannah Montana and the red-eyed tree frog.

Our cauldron looked pretty cool this year with all the glow bracelets in it. I will have to remember that idea for the future. We had quite an assortment of loot to pass out this year. Whoppers, Kit Kats, 2 kinds of suckers, gum, Air Heads, play dough, glow bracelets, and animal crackers. Matt did all the passing out and I walked the neighborhood with the kids. He said we got a lot of compliments on the color-changing lights we used in our jack-o-lanterns this year. I thought they looked pretty awesome.

Of course our cool pumpkins were nothing compared to our neighbor Bob's house. (That's him in the spooky get up.) The pictures I took really don't do his decorations justice. Gargoyles at the end of both sides of the driveway, a huge arch, a carriage, a chair being rocked by a ghost, smoke, scarey sound effects.....it was quite the theatrical production.

Ruby sorting her loot.

The "bah-humbug" type of neighbors.
