My life as an at-home momma of 3 amazing kids...it's kind of like shoveling snow in a blizzard.

Keithen's last day of school

Not only is today Keithen's last day of first grade, but it's also his last day before he switches to a new school. I helped him deliver bouquets of flowers and cards that he had written to his Kindergarten and first grade teachers before class started this morning.

I know he is really going to miss his old school and his friends there. But he is also looking forward to the opportunities he'll have in the accelerated program he is starting in July.

Even though the curriculum has been pretty simple for him these past two years, his teachers have tried to find ways to challenge him and keep him interested until the accelerated program starts in second grade. We've been so appreciative of how his teachers have gone the extra mile to keep him engaged in school. He seems to have a sensitive little soul, so I hope he's not too sad about what he is leaving behind. There is so much to be gained from the new adventure he's about to begin.

Your BB comment on baby in dryer.

I read a headline about Indianapolis and the execution. That must be what you meant.

I will never understand this. Never.
