How do you delete spam comments that get past the word verification?

you should be able to delete any comment posted on your blog. a trash can should show up by the post just click that and delete forever

I knew it was really simple, but for some reason I wasn't finding the darn trash can earlier today. Time to get my eyes checked!? LOL!
