5 Dollars

My life as an at-home momma of 3 amazing kids...it's kind of like shoveling snow in a blizzard.

Indyhub.org

Last night we met up with the Taylor family and the Harrington family at the IMAX theatre downtown. I think Keithen was really happy to get to see Caitie for the first time in a long while.

Thanks to IndyHub, we got the special treat of seeing the 3D version of The Polar Express for free! (It would normally have cost $60 for our family of five!) This was our first time attending an IndyHub event. Apparently they sponsor free or reduced admission events around the Indianapolis area each month.

The kids really loved the movie. All of them had seen it before, but never like this. It was the best 3D movie effects I have ever seen. The girls were all trying to catch the golden ticket when it flew away. Matt said, "I started to try to brush the snow of my pants. How's that for suspension of disbelief?" It really did seem like we were right in the middle of the snow. And the "roller coaster" type scenes where the train enters Glacier Gulch were fabulous.

This bell is a wonderful symbol of the spirit of Christmas - as am I. Just remember, the true spirit of Christmas lies in your heart.
