Bus Driver Accused of Stranding 6-Year-Old
A 6-year-old boy in Davenport, Iowa missed his bus stop earlier this week. The bus driver made him get off the bus and told him to walk the 6 miles home. Thankfully, a kind woman found him and helped him contact police so he could get home safely. The bus driver has been fired and charged with child endangerment. The driver has defended her actions by saying that she was a substitute driver on a route she had never driven before and was running 20 minutes behind schedule.
Sorry lady, but that isn't going to earn you any sympathy. The minute that the child stepped onto that bus it was your responsibility to get him to the right place safely. Tossing him off the bus onto the curb was cruel and irresponsible on your part. You deserve everything you get out of this. If it was my child, well, you'd probably need a restraining order against me, especially if you continued to try to justify your actions that had endangered my child.

She was more worried about her schedule than the child? Very disturbing.
