Getting ink off a doll's face
Kaylee and Ruby are responsible for "decorating" several of their dolls with ink pens. (Including my beloved...and now antique...Mrs. Beasley...sob!) I found a website that suggests using Clearasil with 10% Benzoyl Peroxide and then putting the doll under a warm lamp. I'm going to give it a try later. Hopefully it will work!

Oh No I hope it works. Hubs thinks alcohol pads. There is stuff you can buy though can't think of what its called. My son was very clever with his drawing the other night by using a permanent black marker on his FACE UGH I washed it, it was still there Bruce gently wiped it with alcohol pads, faded some, got him in the tub later and was able to get it off though I still swear I see bits of it lol

I need to do another application of the cream, but putting her under a light with it on for almost 2 hours seems to have faded the marks. YEAH! I'm hoping a couple more hours and she'll be clean again! (Then to tackle the other pile of their dolls.)

As my folks always said, you can never give kids anything nice...

Clearisil sounds safer, but my first impression would be to use nail polish remover.

The zit cream seems to be working really well! It's taking more than one application for most of the dolls, but they look so much better. Now let's just home that they stay clean after this!
